I'm SPECIFICALLY saying the "gym" as this is where the same sex (males or females) get changed and have communal showers (naked). Surely, if someone gay (male or female) did in fact share the same showers with others of the same sex it could be uncomfortable for "straight" people. I know that for me, I was harassed in PUBLIC GYMs by gay men many times and so were other people. Whether it is complete staring or even in worst cases actual abuse, then it makes everyone feel uncomfortable. Yes, not all gays will look at the same sex in a gym, but then not all straight men will look at women if they used an all female changing room. But the point is - is that it makes "straight" people feel needlessly uncomfortable. I AM ASKING OUT OF SINCERITY!! PLEASE, IF YOU ARE GAY, DO NOT RESPOND. I'm NOT ASKING YOU. IF you cannot help yourself and respond, please be polite and address this problem with logical answers, not rhetoric.
